• When Marc Bolan delivered the seminal album Electric Warrior to his record company he knew he was now free to set up his own Record label and run things his way. Over the next six months free of contracts Marc recorded the basis of what would become his next ( and biggest selling) album ‘The Slider’ for his own label ‘The T.Rex Hot Wax Co.’ Alongside these tracks this box set features tracks that never ever made it onto record and have been included here for the very first time. This material has been gathered together over many years from collectors, fans and auction rooms and is controlled by the family and produced in association with The Official Marc Bolan Merch.Co

Been after this Box Set for ages and it was well worth the wait. Disc 1 & 4 are Home Demos with some great acoustic versions of some classic T Rex tracks. Disc 2 & 3 are both from Live Concerts in 71 when T Rex were just about approaching there peak! brilliant stuff.
Disc 5 The Electric Boogie includes two interviews with Bolan plus some brilliant studio outtakes. The Electric Boogie track itself ( why this was never worked on and released as a single is a mystery to me ) is awesome! there’s also a great versions of Raw Ramp and a 12 minute studio jam which is pretty heavy stuff!
The DVD promos are brilliant and although I already own them on other DVDs it’s great to have them all on the one DVD. The Booklets also great full of interesting stuff.

I have to agree with previous reviewer that this box set is worth it’s weight in gold for Bolan fans; great quality and a good price; I was very impressed and like all of the Easy Action stuff; a consistent standard; thank you!
