This LP transports you back in time to a simpler age of Rock and Roll, Elvis was in the army and out of action, Chuck Berry had been arrested and not yet fated as the true poet he was. Jerry Lee Lewis had been through his teen bride scandal and Little Richard had found God! And Buddy was gone. So having two other bona fide american rock and roll legends touring the drab and dreary Blighty of 1960 was indeed a real treat for all the Teds some 50 odd years ago! And these recordings capture some of the magic on what was sadly a trip that was to end marred with tragedy, they both are now gone to that Hop in the sky but these BBC recordings are here and can be savoured again and again. Packaged as usual with due care and attention, these issues are a true Labour of Love, and the facsimile poster and tickets are indeed a very touching tribute to 2 real Rock n Roll Icons. The Chemistry is evident between them both on My Heart fro Saturday Club my personal favourite on this LP and CD set. A Must buy for Gene and Eddie fans!
