The self titled album is the first album in 12 years from the man who formed the Damned and wrote most of their first two albums, “Damned Damned Damned” & “ Music for Pleasure” and wrote the very first UK Punk single ‘New Rose’. The album Includes acoustic duet with Poly Styrene of X-Ray Spex fame
- During the summer of 2006 Brian began raising his profile with a series of shows, the first of which was at the legendary 100 Club with former Damned band mate Rat Scabies, and guests Casey Chaos from Amen and Mani from Primal Scream / Stone Roses. This gig was recorded and filmed for future release
- The Brian James Gang played their first hugely successful full UK tour at the start of 2007 and limited edition signed tour posters can be found here soon.

if you liked the first Damned album then this is for you. Brian James has lost none of that aggression in his songwriting. The album leaps out of the speakers at you, but there are some subtle moments as well, especially the duet with Poly Styrene. A fantastic acoustic song with some great guitaring from Mr James. I would recommend this album to anyone. As it says on the sleeve, recorded loud for playing loud…..ENJOY!!!!!

I often wonder what some of my rock heroes have been up to, and Mr. James makes it easy to find out! The CD package comes with the EP of him performing some of the old great tunes which are solidly enjoyable retakes of the songs from days gone by – the actual CD is a solid pile of guitar rock that both enthuses and invigorates. Great fun all around and I’m happy to know I can still have music from a guitar player who arguably created some of the first punk singles. Thank you, Sir!
