Melanie ” Neighbourhood Songs 1965-1978 ” 6xCD Boxed set *Plus bonus CD

Description

Release date    5th August  2024  a limited pressing six CD boxed set in an A5 book style package  with over 100 tracks most of which are unreleased versions. For several months  during 2023 Melanie  herself was overseeing this exciting project, contributing photographs and information.

Recordings have been discovered by Melanie and her manager Dave Thompson and The Wintergarden team. Tapes have been baked  and audio restoration engineers have worked to clean up some very rare acetates amongst other sources in studios in Sweden and the U.K  .

• some source material on some tracks  is lo fi but every opportunity to enhance and clean and restore the sound quality in professional studios has been taken .

many unseen photographs decorate the 20 page booklet along with essays from Melanie fans and esteemed authors  Mark Paytress and Dave Thompson

all easy action  customers will receive the bonus cd of  ‘The Centre of The Circle’ ( the bits we couldn’t fit on the boxed set )
