After having split in 1976, Roxy Music reconvened in 1979 with a new line-up and a new single, ‘Trash’. Although ‘Trash’ barely scraped into the UK chart, the follow-up, ‘Dance Away’ proved a massive global hit cementing the group’s new image in the popular consciousness.

Released in March 1979, Manifesto was Roxy’s long-awaited comeback album and was supported by a tour that sold out most venues.

Filmed before a packed house in Manchester’s Apollo Theatre in May 1979, Roxy Music played a magical concert that captivated their audience The concert features four of the original band members; Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay and Paul Thompson, along with keyboard player David Skinner and new bassist Gary Tibbs.

The DVD Includes classics such as ‘Virginia Plain’, ‘Love is the Drug’, ‘Editions of You’, ‘Re-Make/Re-Model’, in addition to several songs from the freshly issued Manifesto.
